4th Round FA Cup Draw 2022: What time is fourth round draw, teams qualified & how to watch and stream

Between the big Premier League clubs that advanced and the minnows from the lower divisions that have survived thus far (Kidderminster Harriers and Boreham Wood are the two lowest-ranked teams still dancing), the fourth-round draw of the 2022 FA Cup should provide an attractive match schedule. .

The fourth round draw will take place before the third round has concluded on Sunday. It will take place at 11:50 am ET before the Nottingham Forest vs. Arsenal and the day before Manchester United vs. Aston Villa closes the list for the third round.

The 16 knockout matches of the FA Cup fourth round will take place on the weekend of February 5-6. Matches that end in a tie after 90 minutes will go straight to extra time and penalty kicks after the England Football Association ruled out replays due to COVID-related match congestion.

Here’s everything you need to know before the draw, including where to watch it and the up-to-date list of teams and divisions that will be represented. There are no conditions for the draw: any team can win any of the others, regardless of level. The host of each match is also drawn at random.

When is the FA Cup fourth round draw?

  • Date: Sunday, January 9, 2022
  • Hour: 11:50 am ET
  • Television channel: None
  • Stream: ESPN +

In addition to each match on the third round roster, ESPN + will also broadcast the draw with the broadcast scheduled to begin Sunday at 11:50 a.m. ET, just 20 minutes before the Nottingham Forest-Arsenal match and the day before the final. The match of the day is played at Old Trafford. The winners of both games will know where they will play in February.

The 20 minutes allotted are more than enough time to carry out the draw, given the efficiency with which they are executed compared to the productions that are made for other competitions: each surviving team is assigned a number and the balls are drawn with those numbers. It’s as simple as that. Hollow balls are not unscrewed with small unfolded rolls of paper, a process that can add significant time to the process.
