The Brooklyn Nets have reportedly extended the contract of interim head coach Jack Vaughan. According to his senior EPSSN NBA insider, Adrian Wojnarowski, Bourne’s contract runs through his 2026-2027 season.

This season, Vaughan continues to build on that success, leading the Nets to a 34-24 record as of February 21, 2023. The team currently sits in his fifth place in the Eastern Conference. However, a recent roster explosion could see them drop out of the top 6 seed.
Mr. Vaughn also expressed his gratitude for the extension. “I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to continue coaching this team,” Vaughan said. I am excited to continue.”
After trading Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving this season, the Nets are poised for the future and currently have their head coach tied up. A round pick could portend other stars leaving. However, Brooklyn is still a huge market, so anything is possible.
Extending the contract of head coach Jack Vaughan is a positive development for the team. Vaughan has demonstrated an ability to lead the team to success and his strong relationships with players bode well for the team’s future.
The Brooklyn Nets are not yet the favorites to win the Atlantic Division, according to a New York sportsbook. With the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers there, the Nets could see him in third place.
The Nets have a solid core of respectable role players. However, they don’t have that certified All-Star on their roster. Play-in he is eligible for the tournament if he falls out of the top six seeds.
