Eddie Howe provides five-man injury update for Newcastle

“I don’t think there will be any new injuries. Matt Targett is very welcome to get back to training, which is his first step. I’m not trying to push him this weekend, but he’s closer to coming back. That’s a good sign.”

The Magpies appear to be waiting for a delayed fitness update for most of the players above, with Miguel Almiron and Alain Saint-Maximin looking closest to a return, but all five remain in doubt.

Whatever team Jürgen Klopp has to face, he definitely has a plan and hopes to score what will be an important victory.
