Fireworks set off outside Real Madrid’s hotel on eve of CL clash

Liverpool and Real Madrid are becoming familiar foes, but the Spanish team hasn’t traveled to Merseyside much in its history, so they may not have expected the ‘welcome’ they received.

A video has been shared on social media, showing fireworks going off outside the hotel where Carlo Ancelotti’s team was staying on the eve of the big match.

This is not what our fans normally do, and is also seen as embarrassing by some supporters and rival teams.

A sleep-deprived opponent might give him an advantage on the pitch, but it also seems a bit counter-intuitive to what the fanbase is best known for.
