(Images) Fresh snaps show stunning progress of Anfield Road expansion

Anfield is already one of the best stadiums in world football, but the famous venue will soon be even better once the expansion of the ground’s Anfield Road End is complete.

Work is expected to be completed in time for the 2023/24 campaign, and capacity will soon exceed 60,000.

A snap shared on Twitter by @CraigEvans_LFC shows the new stand’s roof towering over the existing stand, giving fans an insight into how impressive it will look once completed. I can.

3D images of what the ground will look like once completed have already been released, and we can’t wait to see the noise levels rise even higher inside L4 first-hand.
