Manchester United winger Facundo Peristri appreciates his life so far under Eric ten Hag.
Despite signing for United from Penarol in 2020, Peristri was handed his senior and Premier League debuts in a Red Devils shirt by his Dutch coach.
Peristri was interviewed by the club’s media and asked about how he feels under Ten Hag’s guidance and guidance.
“He has a very good mentality. In the first few days when he arrived here, he was very clear about what he was thinking. [like we understand his ideas] on the pitch every game. ”
“He has a clear idea and always tells us that we have to improve. I think that’s how we can get to the top.”
“The training has been good, the mentality is good and I think the coach and all the staff are here to make things better and hopefully it continues like this.
Peristri reflected on his debut when he came off as a substitute in the Carabao Cup against Charlton Athletic.
Despite being on the pitch for just 10 minutes, the Uruguayan contributed an assist for Marcus Rashford.
Peristri revealed he had waited a long time to bow in front of United’s loyalty, and he cherished the moment.
The 21-year-old said he will forever remember the Charlton game.
Peristri could be involved with United again as United play Leicester City at Old Trafford on Sunday.
According to the forward, his personal goal is not his top priority, most importantly for his team to score all three points.
