Fury withdrew from his original agreement to fight in Florida in late 2021 due to injury and illness, much to the disappointment of his opponents.
After Tyrone Woodley stepped in and was knocked out by Paul, another fight agreement was signed in August 2022, and was scheduled to take place in New York.
But when it came time to fight, the Briton was denied access to the United States due to visa issues because his ESTA failed with Homeland Security.
Paul continued his impressive run by beating UFC legend Anderson Silva, but rumors began to circulate about a third attempt to clash with Fury — this time with Saudi backing. .
Announcing the match on social media, Paul said:
“The baby was born. The money is huge. No problem entering the country.
“Tyson promises that he and his dad will force Tommy to retire from boxing and change his last name if he doesn’t beat the YouTuber.
“Tomorrow I’ll be in London to look all three Furies in the eye and shake that promise.”
