RB Leipzig have reportedly entered the race for Lille striker Jonathan David.
Manchester United, previously associated with the Canadian player, will face stiff competition from Bundesliga teams.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Leipzig are keen on signing the 23-year-old.
“Leipzig, among other clubs, have a great interest in Jonathan David. He is a top target as he can play as target ST and second ST.”
“They are looking into a solution internally, but it seems difficult because it would be very expensive.”

David is in great form this season, scoring 15 goals in 23 appearances in Ligue 1.
He would be an interesting option for the Red Devils.
The Canadian striker is fast, direct and able to add much-needed dynamism to United’s attack.
Eric ten Hug is said to want the number 9 shirt in the summer, with United relying heavily on Marcus Rashford for goals.
David is a great addition to the team and would complement the other forwards.
United are considering other options like Victor Osimhen and Harry Kane, both of which would be very expensive.
Ten Hag must decide on their tactics for next season and plan accordingly.
David brought athleticism and explosiveness to his success in the Premier League.
