Las Vegas Raiders Have Released Quarterback Derek Carr

The Las Vegas Raiders have notified quarterback Derek Carr that he will be released today, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The veteran quarterback would have been guaranteed $40.2 million if he hadn’t been fired by Tuesday. Las Vegas has freed up $29.25 million cap his space with the move.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the 31-year-old Pro Bowler will get a lot of suitors once he hits the market.
