Manchester United have two season-defining games ahead of them this week, with Barcelona visiting for the second leg of the Europa League ahead of the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United at the weekend.

And if the Red Devils end up recruiting a full-back, Wan-Bissaka’s departure could be on the cards as he no longer wants to play a backup role.
Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremy Frimpong is one of the potential destinations.
Possibility of a new RB in the summer
The Dutch defender has been really active at both ends of the pitch at Leverkusen this season. He has made 21 league appearances so far, scoring five goals and he has three assists, keeping the team to his five clean sheets.
His performance has also prompted Newcastle to take notice of his services and are eager to add a full-back, alternating with Kieran Trippier, who is set to turn 33 next season.
According to Ben Jacobs’ CaughtOffside column, both United and Newcastle are eyeing the Leverkusen right-back as a summer transfer target.
“More generally, there are a few other full-backs to watch. Leverkusen’s Jeremy Frimpong has been pursued by Newcastle and Manchester United.”
The Dutchman is currently valued at £25million, according to Transfermarkt, but Leverkusen wants a bidding war to push the price even higher.
