Liverpool and Everton go head-to-head in the Merseyside derby on Monday night, and both sides need to beat their rivals after poor recent results.
The Reds are currently going through a terrible campaign and sit 10th in the Premier League standings. Jürgen Klopp’s side are winless in his last four league games and European football looks far and wide next season.
After losing 3-0 to Wolves in their last match, Liverpool can pick up momentum with a win over their city rivals. Klopp said he made two changes from the loss at Molineux, with Jordan Henderson and Fabinho joining the Derby.

As for Everton, Liverpool’s blue side have also had a dismal season and are currently in the relegation zone of the Premier League.
Former coach Frank Lampard was sacked by the Toffees last month after eight games in a row without a win in the league, and his successor Sean Deitch beat Premier League leaders Arsenal 1-0 at Goodison Park last weekend. and got off to a great start.
Everton are looking to carry that momentum into tonight’s game at Anfield, with the former Burnley boss making only one change to the squad, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin unable to make the squad and Ellis. It has been superseded by The Sims.
A win over Liverpool could help the Blues move out of the relegation zone and a win over city rivals at Anfield would be a bonus.
