The NHL’s decision not to send players to the Olympics this year means the league’s top talent will show off their skills at the All-Star Game, which will be played in Las Vegas on February 5.
As in previous years, 11 players from each division (nine skaters and two goalies) will battle it out in a 3v3 tournament, with the winner taking all. The NHL on Thursday announced 10 entrants for each division, with fans voting for 11th place in the Last Man In competition.
There are plenty of familiar faces in this year’s All-Star Game, including Connor McDavid, Victor Hedman, Nathan MacKinnon and Alex Ovechkin, as well as 18 newcomers making their first All-Star game, a group headed by Cale Makar.

Fans can vote for four players from a list of 32 candidates to determine the Final Men in the 2022 NHL All-Star, which round out the rosters. Fans can cast 10 votes over the course of a 24-hour period ending Monday, January 17. The top four vote-getters in each division will join their respective division’s All-Star team.
