Manchester United are reportedly monitoring AS Roma striker Paulo Dybala.

According to calciomercato, the Red Devils are looking to Dybala for the role of striker.

Eric ten Hag is said to want the number 9 shirt next summer and United are looking for potential targets.

The report states:

“Manchester United are keeping a close eye on their Roma players. Another Jarrorossi has been attacked after showing interest in Tammy Abraham, who would be seen as a target for the British to attack if he cannot reach Osimén or Kane. : Paulo Dybala.”

The Argentinian player has a £10.7m severance clause, which is particularly attractive to United.

Dybala has been a consistent performer for Roma.

He is technically good and always threatens goals.

Ten Hag wants a player like him. Dibala is versatile, serving as a false nine, number ten, or outright striker.

Anthony Martial has shown himself to be injury prone and unreliable.

Dybala could be a direct replacement for the Frenchman.

He was a key part of Jose Mourinho’s squad and revamped his career at Roma.

It will be interesting to see if United pick Dybala or take big money for Victor Osimén and Harry Kane.
