The Raiders and Bengals have some of the longest active playoff win droughts in the NFL at 18 and 30, respectively, so motivation should be strong in the wild-card round. With DraftKings setting the point total at 49.5, we have the perfect conditions to build a DraftKings Showdown lineup. Both offenses have expensive quarterbacks and pass receivers, so we’ll have to get creative with our DFS picks. It’s easy to get into chalk plays too, so at least a couple of sleepers and value plays will be key for the first game on Saturday.
These are the important settings for DraftKings single game contests: Is, and there is, and. The Captain pick costs 1.5 times the player’s original price, but also gets their total points multiplied by 1.5.
DraftKings Showdown Picks: Raiders vs. Bengals
$ 50,000 budget, at least one player from each team is needed.
You could also go to Ja’Marr Chase or Joe Burrow here, but Higgins offers the lowest price among those three and has a wide advantage in its own right. Las Vegas was among the best defenses to limit fantasy receivers during the regular season, but we expect support coverage on Chase, opening things up for Higgins.
Multiple Bengals pass receivers and running backs can feast on the same game, but Burrow is the constant. It’s going to be chalky, but we don’t think you can build a winning lineup without it. He has produced more than 22 DK points in four of his last five games, including at least 37.9 DK points in his last two.
We expect the Bengals’ offense to be explosive and efficient, so Carr will have to keep up on a shootout if he wants to keep the Raiders in it. Cincinnati allowed the fifth fewest rushing yards during the regular season, so when Las Vegas’ running game stalls, Carr’s passing attempts should once again approach the 35-45 range.
We picked Carr, so we’re stacking him with his No. 1 WR. Again, shooting conditions are in play here, and a high-volume pass attack means double-digit targets for Renfrow. It has demonstrated the ability to do it with volume or efficiency, and its price is generous considering that it has averaged more than 16 DK points in its last three contests.
We’ve been waiting for another blast from Uzomah since the first part of the regular season, and what better time than in the first round of the playoffs in a showdown with Las Vegas, which delivered the seventh-most DK points to TE during the season. regular? Uzomah has at least six goals in four of his last five games, so the opportunity is there and the stack makes sense here. Again, this lineup is based on the idea that Chase will be removed (and highly owned), so Uzomah makes sense alongside Higgins given the heavy showdown.
Picking a kicker is never flashy, but Las Vegas attempted the most field goals of any team during the regular season (43), and Carlson made the second most field goals (40). He racked up double-digit DK points in 10 of 17 games this year, including scoring at least 13 points in five contests. Given that the Raiders are the sixth-worst team in red zone TD percentage (51.67), they will inevitably settle for shots from the field early and often.
