Report: Real Madrid are keen to sign ‘outstanding’ player from Liverpool after facing him on Tuesday

Real Madrid appear to be interested in signing midfielder Stefan Baicetić after his recent impressive performances for Liverpool.

The 18-year-old has been a new frontier for Liverpool since he made his first-team debut in the 9-0 win over Bournemouth, coming on as a sub.

Since 21 January, he has played 308 minutes in all four of Liverpool’s league games, while last night he played 85 minutes in Liverpool’s 5-2 defeat to Real Madrid.

In his minutes this season, Baicetić has shown glimpses of true promise, which, of course, has led to rumors that Real Madrid are sniffing out his services.

This is according to Calciomercato, who claims Real are seeking “future reinforcements” from the Spanish national team.

Bajectic delivered a decent performance in the collective turmoil at Anfield last night, but away from the disaster that unfolded, why he belongs to Merseyside and how Jürgen Klopp is past 1? Over the months he has proven to the Liverpool faithful exactly why they have placed their trust in him.
