Shora Shoretire put in a superb performance yesterday against League One side Bolton Wanderers as they beat Peterborough 5-0 to finish fifth.
The Manchester United borrower scored the highest score of nine points in the Bolton News player ratings, with Posh purring that he “didn’t know how to treat him”.
According to Statman Dave, Shoretire had 100% dribbling success and 93% passing accuracy. He won 9/12 ground duels and 6 fouls.
The 19-year-old won two penalties and made one key pass.

Bolton News reports:
“But in this kind of chaotic environment, he could choose between moments to fall deep into the space around the penalty box and moments to run into a defender.
“On one of his last occasions, he tripped Nathan Thompson and was awarded a penalty in the 42nd minute by referee Lee Swaby.
Shoretire’s performances at Bolton so far have been impressive, especially considering the fact that it is his first loan spell away from United’s academy.
Joining a side contending for promotion in a tough League One will be very difficult midway through the season after only playing a handful of U21 games for United in the first half of the season.
Shoretire’s talent was evident from a young age, but Trotters boss Ian Evatt bet on whether the young star would be physically fit enough to withstand the intensity of league football at this stage.
If yesterday’s unplayable performance doesn’t matter, Evatt’s faith will be well rewarded.
