Video: Pep Guardiola mocks Steven Gerrard’s infamous slip against Chelsea that cost Liverpool the title

Pep Guardiola has angered Liverpool fans by mocking Steven Gerrard’s famous slip against Chelsea.

At yesterday’s furious press conference, Guardiola appeared in City’s defense against the club, which has been charged with breaching rules by the Premier League.

A visibly shaken Guardiola accused the remaining 19 Premier League teams, including Liverpool, of conspiring against his club.

And now, Fabrizio Romano has shared a clip from a press conference where he mocked Steven Gerrard’s unfortunate slip-up against Chelsea in what was a key moment for Liverpool to lose the title to City in the 2013/2014 season.

He sarcastically said:

I don’t know if Steven Gerrard was responsible for slipping. I know with that situation at Anfield.

We didn’t want you to pay tribute to Steven Gerrard, but that’s our fault.”
